Modeling Work

I discovered modeling as an adult, as part of my exploration of body positivity as a feminist issue. I have grown to love fashion and photography, and have collaborated with other artists to create this body of work. I have also hosted photo shoots and provided styling services for other women, hoping to build spaces for self-acceptance and self-affirmation, where diverse images can be considered beautiful and worthy of respect and love.

I wrote this essay about my path to claiming an artistic identity, and the power of technology.

Library Princess Photo Shoot

Amber Patrick, of A Terror Musical photography, along with several other Cleveland women, collaborated with me to create a community photo shoot. We used my collection of vintage fashion, along with contributions from Retro Rosie and local makeup and hair artists, to create a two-day event for fifty of our closest friends. These are Amber's shots  of me from that day.

Portraiture

I sat for the Pretentious Cleveland Portrait Artists, a group of fine artists that meets at a local brewery on Fridays for a public drawing session. These are the images that resulted.

Woodland Creatures Photo Shoot

Amber Patrick invited local women to come to the marina and make flower crowns for a woodland-creatures-themed photo shoot in fall 2016. Not all woodland creatures are harmless.
